Turkish Airlines launches Timisoara flights, taking Romania network to four cities

Turkish Airlines has added Timișoara to its network, bringing the carrier’s Romanian destinations to four and boosting total weekly flights in the country to 47. The new Istanbul–Timișoara service runs five times per week, the airline said.

Cancelled Middle East flights after Iran strikes: Is air traffic back to normal?

On Saturday, airlines scrapped and diverted flights bound for the Middle East after U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran led to widespread airspace shutdowns in the area. Carriers were forced to avoid Iranian territory and routes through nearby countries. Flight-tracking maps showed an unusual pattern: traffic that would typically fill major corridors instead thinned out sharply over Iran as restrictions tightened.

Turkish Airlines hits record 92.6 million passengers in 2025 as December traffic jumps

Turkish Airlines said it carried a record 92.6 million passengers in 2025, up 8.8% from a year earlier, in consolidated traffic results that include its AJet brand.
