Turkish Airlines has added Timișoara to its network, bringing the carrier’s Romanian destinations to four and boosting total weekly flights in the country to 47. The new Istanbul–Timișoara service runs five times per week, the airline said.

Turkish Airlines said it carried a record 92.6 million passengers in 2025, up 8.8% from a year earlier, in consolidated traffic results that include its AJet brand.
