Constellation Brands fell 2.2% in premarket trading on Thursday to $140.49, after the Modelo beer maker beat Wall Street profit estimates but trimmed its full-year reported earnings outlook. The company said net sales fell 10% to $2.22 billion for the quarter ended Nov. 30, while comparable earnings per share came in at $3.06, topping analysts’ $2.63 estimate, according to LSEG data. Standard Chartered stock edges up after buyback update; STAN.L investors eye Feb results

Standard Chartered shares rose about 0.8% to 1,805 pence in early London trade on Thursday after the bank disclosed another round of share repurchases under its buyback programme. The lender said it bought 537,006 shares on Wednesday at an average 1,805.41 pence, lifting cumulative buyback spending to $1.11 billion and cutting shares outstanding after cancellation to about 2.26 billion. The stock has traded between 1,783.5 and 1,806.5 pence so far, still below its 52-week high of 1,875.5 pence.
