A total lunar eclipse will be fully visible across Europe, Africa, Asia, and Australia/New Zealand on September 7–8, 2025, with totality lasting about 1 hour 22 minutes. The Perseids peak August 12–13 with up to 100 meteors per hour in the Northern Hemisphere. An annular solar eclipse crosses Antarctica and southern oceans on February 17, 2026. Jupiter reaches opposition on January 10, 2026, shining at magnitude −2.8 in Gemini.
