WSP Global to Buy TRC Companies for $3.3 Billion, Building a U.S. Power & Energy Leader
WSP Global will acquire U.S.-based TRC Companies for US$3.3 billion in cash, aiming to expand its power and utilities business amid rising grid investment. The deal, expected to close in Q1 2026, would make WSP the largest U.S. engineering and design firm by revenue, adding about 8,000 TRC employees to its U.S. workforce.
