A damaged GAIL pipeline inside the RCF Chembur compound cut gas flow to MGL’s Wadala City Gate Station on Sunday, shutting all 486 CNG stations across Mumbai, Thane, and Navi Mumbai. Over 300,000 autos, taxis, and buses were affected, leaving commuters stranded and buses overcrowded on Monday. MGL maintained piped gas to homes while repairs continued, with restoration expected by Tuesday.
