GE Vernova will invest about $200 million in a large-power-transformer plant in Hai Phong, Vietnam, aiming for full operations by 2028 and 450 jobs by 2030. The company’s gas-turbine technology was chosen for three planned LNG power projects, each designed for 1.6 GW. GE also marked the start of PV Power’s 1.6-GW Nhon Trach 3&4 plant, Vietnam’s first HA-powered project.
