AT&T Beats Q3 Forecast with 405K New Subs – Is Its 5G Bet Paying Off?
AT&T reported Q3 revenue of $30.7 billion, up 1.6% year-over-year, with GAAP EPS at $1.29 including a $5.5 billion DIRECTV gain. The company added 405,000 postpaid phone subscribers, beating expectations, and saw fiber net adds of 288,000. Mobility service revenue rose 2.3% to $16.9 billion; business wireline sales fell about 7.8%.
