CVR Energy stock jumps as oil volatility and U.S. inventory data keep refiners in focus
CVR Energy shares jumped 6.6% to $24.28 in Wednesday afternoon trading, outpacing gains in other major U.S. refiners. Oil prices rose for a fifth straight day as U.S. crude inventories increased by 3.4 million barrels and gasoline stocks surged by 9 million barrels last week, according to the EIA.
