Nvidia stock ends 2025 lower as Reuters flags China H200 orders and fresh TSMC talks
Nvidia shares closed down 0.5% at $186.50 after reports the company asked TSMC to boost H200 chip production amid surging Chinese orders. Reuters said Chinese firms have ordered over 2 million H200 chips for 2026, far exceeding current inventory. Nvidia stated licensed H200 sales to China would not affect U.S. supply. Beijing has not yet approved H200 shipments despite recent U.S. export clearance.
