The calm index tape was significant. It kept the day’s oil-and-rate selloff in place as traders adjusted their pricing of company performance.

From 18:00 to 18:52, E-mini S&P futures rose by one point. Nasdaq-100 futures were up 0.25 point.

Earlier in the cash session, the S&P 500 dropped 0.71% while the Nasdaq Composite declined 1.03%, according to Associated Press close data.

The Russell 2000 fell 1.23%, marking the steepest decline among major indexes. Roughly 5.81 billion shares changed hands on the Nasdaq composite, based on Yahoo Finance market data.

Sector performance reflected similar macro headwinds. Energy gained alongside crude prices, while consumer and technology stocks posted the steepest declines.

Dell posted $47.0 billion in revenue for the quarter, a 58% increase. Chief Financial Officer David Kennedy highlighted “record revenue” and “record EPS” SEC filing.

Orders for AI servers climbed to $60.9 billion. Dell raised its full-year revenue forecast by $25 billion, bringing it to $192 billion.

MongoDB reported revenue of $771.8 million, an increase of 30%. Chief Executive CJ Desai described it as the “highest level of growth in several years” company release carried by PRNewswire.

The company set its third-quarter revenue midpoint at $758.5 million, representing a 1.7% decline from the previous quarter. This comes even as it raised its full-year forecast MongoDB’s Form 10-Q.
