Sam’s Club Gas Station Shutting Temporarily For Repairs in Santa Clarita

Santa Clarita, June 12, 2026, 02:01 PDT

  • Sam’s Club will shut its Santa Clarita fuel station on June 15.
  • The renovation, set to run through Sept. 18, will add more fuel pumps.
  • The main Sam’s Club store is not said to be closing.

Sam’s Club members in Santa Clarita will lose access to the retailer’s cut-rate gas on June 15, when the local station will shut down for renovation. The closure is expected to last until Sept. 18, according to KHTS. Crews plan to add more pumps and make other changes during the downtime.

The Sam’s Club Fuel Center at 26468 Carl Boyer Drive, connected to the Santa Clarita Sam’s Club #4824, is closing for renovations. The Sam’s Club website still lists regular hours for the members-only fuel pumps—6 a.m. to 10 p.m.—but those hours won’t apply during the closure.

The Sun reported the Santa Clarita fuel station will close June 15 and reopen Sept. 18 after crews put in new pumps. The closure hits as summer driving demand usually picks up, so local members who use the club for gas will need to plan ahead.

The Sam’s Club warehouse is still open, according to reports. Only the gas station is affected, with no indications the main store will close. Sam’s Club’s website still lists the Carl Boyer Drive site as the Santa Clarita club and fuel center. The store’s official page shows the location as operational.

Drivers in Santa Clarita trying to find another Sam’s Club with a fuel center will need to go some distance. The Sam’s Club fuel center page lists Palmdale, El Monte, and South Gate as the closest options. Palmdale is about 24 miles from Santa Clarita.

Sam’s Club changed its membership prices recently. The help pages now show Club membership at $60 per year and Plus at $120. Plus members can earn Sam’s Cash on qualifying buys, capped at $750 per year.

Santa Clarita Sam’s Club fuel station will be closed from June 15 to Sept. 18, with work focused on pump upgrades, not shutting the station for good. Both KHTS and The Sun said the reopening is set for mid-September. Drivers are told to check Sam’s Club’s location page for current hours during construction since things can shift.

  • Tech Market Jitters Grow as Nasdaq-S&P Volatility Gap Widens to 2008 Peak
July 2, 2026, 4:00 PM EDT. The gap between Nasdaq-100 implied volatility and the S&P 500 just hit levels not seen since the 2008 financial crisis. Traders are buying more put options on Nasdaq names, betting on declines, a sharp shift from the call-heavy bets seen earlier this year. The change points to tech market nerves, with risk fears building as the AI rally cools and the semiconductor sector ETF (SMH) dropped 4.5% lately. Volatility in the S&P 500 is usually quieter during the summer, but analysts say swings in the Nasdaq-100 could stick around as tech names stay turbulent.
