Solana Price Rises 4.3% While U.S. ETFs Post $5.2 Million Outflow

SINGAPORE, Sept. 6, 2026, 12:20 p.m. SGT — Solana (SOL-USD) traded at $106.13 on Sunday, up 4.3% over 24 hours. Its marked value grew by roughly $2.56 billion even as the latest U.S. spot-fund session produced a $5.2 million net withdrawal.

Those figures pull in opposite directions, yet they measure different things. Market capitalization reprices every outstanding token. Fund-flow data records cash entering or leaving a narrow set of U.S. wrappers.

That distinction is the weekend signal. SOL keeps trading while the exchange-listed products sit still until Tuesday.

Live weekend tape

SOL moved from $101.78 to $106.23

One market, two clocks

The move was broad enough to matter. CoinGecko’s snapshot put SOL volume near $2.94 billion and market value at $62.16 billion. Bitcoin rose 0.5% over the same period. Ether gained 2.3%.

A separate Kraken quote showed $106.23, only ten cents higher. Its rolling range ran from $101.62 to $107.05. SOL therefore sat near the upper end, rather than printing one stray trade.

The regulated-fund tape looked choppier. U.S. Solana products lost $6.1 million on Wednesday, added $6.4 million Thursday and shed $5.2 million Friday. That left a three-session net outflow of $4.9 million, according to Farside Investors.

The withdrawal was concentrated. Bitwise Solana Staking ETF (NYSEARCA:BSOL) lost $2.8 million. Fidelity Solana Fund (NYSEARCA:FSOL) supplied the remaining $2.4 million, while four products were flat.

Friday did not erase the larger build. Farside’s cumulative line stood at $1.306 billion, including the seed allocations shown in its ledger. The one-day withdrawal equalled about 0.4% of that amount.

BSOL dominates that history with $1.022 billion of cumulative flow. Its issuer reported $961.5 million of net assets on Sept. 3. Bitwise also reported a 5.64% net staking reward rate and a 0.20% sponsor fee.

FSOL offers a different wrapper. Fidelity says the product holds 100% SOL and reinvests staking rewards into net asset value. Its fund page lists a 0.25% expense ratio and a 15% fee on staking rewards.

The scale check

These are not equivalent flows. Market value is a price-times-supply calculation. The comparison shows scale, not money entering SOL. Data: CoinGecko and Farside.

Tuesday carries the handoff

Solana Foundation President Lily Liu recently described a goal of markets that “operate around the clock.” The full remark was promotional, but the timing mismatch is real. Crypto trades all weekend; ETP shares do not.

The NYSE calendar closes U.S. cash markets Monday for Labor Day. If SOL holds near $106, fund shares may open Tuesday with an immediate adjustment. Fresh creations or redemptions will reveal whether brokerage demand followed the token.

A positive Tuesday flow would make Friday’s withdrawal look routine. Another outflow, paired with a retreat below $103, would weaken the weekend move. Those are observable tests, not price targets.

Risks: SOL trades continuously and can reverse before U.S. markets reopen. Staking adds validator and slashing risk, while fund shares can deviate from net asset value. Fidelity requires the “Most Aggressive” account objective for these crypto products.

For now, the clean reading is narrower. Spot buyers marked SOL sharply higher despite a small, concentrated fund withdrawal. Tuesday will show whether Wall Street’s wrappers catch up.
