Bank of America stock rises as yields climb; BAC traders eye payrolls and Jan. 14 earnings
Bank of America shares rose 1.7% to $55.95 in after-hours trading Friday, with about 25.5 million shares traded. The move tracked gains in other major U.S. banks as the 10-year Treasury yield climbed to 4.195%. BofA filed a preliminary prospectus for auto-callable notes linked to major indexes, expected to price January 27. The bank will report fourth-quarter results on January 14.
