Schwab stock (SCHW) closes near a 52-week high — insider selling and next week’s data loom
Charles Schwab shares rose 3% to $105.08 Friday, trailing just below their 52-week high as U.S. stocks rebounded and the Dow closed above 50,000 for the first time. Co-chairman Walter Bettinger sold 257,410 shares earlier in the week at prices just over $104, SEC filings showed. Trading volume was below average. Schwab’s January activity report is due Feb. 13.
