  • Snowflake Inc. NYSE:SNOW surged 23.43%; Broadcom Inc. NASDAQ:AVGO fell 2.30% by 05:00 EDT.
  • WTI crude reached $91.17, up 0.18%, after touching $89.66 during the first premarket hour.

The tape absorbed sharply different AI earnings reactions without losing its benchmark gains. That split suggests investors were rewarding forecast upgrades, not the AI label alone. Exchange-wide breadth was unavailable before the 09:30 cash open NYSE hours.

During the available 59-minute interval, Dow futures added 0.02%. Nasdaq-100 futures eased 0.07%, while S&P futures were nearly flat. The small-cap contract lost 0.07%.

Turnover remained light. About 14,833 S&P and 11,552 Nasdaq contracts traded during that interval. Dow and Russell volume totaled 4,033 contracts. Contract sizes differ, so raw counts are not directly comparable.

Broadcom fell to $358.80 despite record quarterly figures. Revenue rose 86% to $29.59 billion, while free cash flow reached $13.67 billion. Chief Executive Hock Tan said custom-accelerator and networking demand “continues to be very strong.” The company forecast $34.8 billion of fourth-quarter revenue Broadcom results.

Snowflake jumped to $377.50. Product revenue rose 37% to $1.49 billion. The company raised its fiscal 2027 product-revenue forecast to $6.07 billion from $5.84 billion SEC filing.

The 25.73-point spread between Snowflake and Broadcom showed unusual selectivity. Hewlett Packard Enterprise fell 3.26% to $50.14 despite record revenue. Its quarterly sales rose 34% to $12.2 billion HPE results.

Oil added another cross-current. WTI rebounded $1.51 from its first-hour low. Brent reached $95.77 after touching $94.21. Conflict involving Iran kept energy risk elevated, even as prices eased earlier in Asia Associated Press.
