The stock hit $123.75 at 10:33 EDT. Trading volume had climbed 16% above its latest daily average Nasdaq.

The change significantly lowered the potential gains suggested by Wall Street targets. It also factored in growth that has not yet been reflected in Robinhood’s reported corporate revenue.

Coinbase Global, Inc. NASDAQ:COIN advanced 8.62%, lagging the rally. Interactive Brokers Group, Inc. NASDAQ:IBKR climbed 3.96%. The Charles Schwab Corporation NYSE:SCHW rose 1.65%.

Robinhood Chain recorded earnings exceeding $3.8 million on September 1, according to Investing.com. The outlet referenced Messari data indicating that 38% of network revenue was produced on that day Investing.com.

That figure does not represent Robinhood’s stated revenue. The company has not specified the portion of chain activity reflected in its income statement.

Transaction revenue for the second quarter increased by 44%, reaching $776 million. Options accounted for $342 million, and event contracts generated $156 million SEC filing.

Revenue from crypto declined 38% to $100 million. Crypto trading volume for July decreased 33% compared to June, reaching $10.9 billion Robinhood operating data.

Despite the slowdown, customer assets stayed high. In July, Robinhood posted $355 billion in platform assets and 28.5 million funded customers.

Morgan Stanley raised its rating for Robinhood and set a new target price of $150 on Tuesday. Scotiabank assigned a target of $136, and Piper Sandler increased its target to $145.

The average price target stood at $126.27 from 19 analysts. Of these, seventeen had a buy rating on the stock, while two recommended holding Google Finance.

Robinhood’s fundamentals are reinforcing upbeat sentiment. Last quarter, revenue climbed 32% to an all-time high of $1.31 billion. Chief Financial Officer Shiv Verma said the company was “firing on all cylinders.”

Risks: Daily chain fees could prove temporary. Crypto trading activity is declining, while the SEC filing highlights evolving regulations around tokens, event contracts, and payment for order flow.
