Eind 2023 had vrijwel elke Oekraïense gevechtsbrigade drones met gespecialiseerde UAV-eenheden. FPV-kamikazedrones werden in zwermen ingezet en zouden tot 80% van sommige Russische materieelverliezen veroorzaken. In januari 2024 troffen langeafstandsdrones Russische brandstofdepots. In mei 2025 maakten marinedrones twee Russische gevechtsvliegtuigen neer.

Do połowy 2025 roku co najmniej 15 ukraińskich firm produkuje takie UAV-y, a ceny zestawów spadły z 2500 do 500 dolarów.
