Boeing secured a $2.8 billion contract to develop next‑generation nuclear communications satellites for the U.S. military. Spanish operator Hisdesat completed two satellites in orbit and signed for two more in 2025, backed by Indra, targeting €1 billion in space revenue by 2030. SpainSat NG II, developed by Hisdesat and Airbus, is set to launch October 22–29 with NATO as its first client for both military and civil applications. SpaceX’s Starlink now accounts for more than 60% of all active satellites, following launches including Starlink 10-28 from Cape Canaveral and a Vandenberg mission delivering 70 small satellites.   • Waterways Leisure opens 16% lower on NSE in soft debut
    July 1, 2026, 1:38 AM EDT. Shares of Waterways Leisure Tourism, which runs Cordelia Cruises, started trading on BSE and NSE on July 1. The stock listed at Rs 681 on NSE, coming in 15.72% under the issue price of Rs 769-808. On BSE, shares opened at Rs 690, or 14.60% down. The Rs 585 crore IPO saw 1.46 times subscription, mostly from retail. Anchor investors brought in Rs 263.25 crore before the listing. Market cap after debut stood at Rs 4,995.22 crore. The weak open signals investors are hesitant in the current choppy market.
