Schwab was up roughly 1.5% to $102.55 in afternoon action, after swinging between $97.10 and $104.78. Interactive Brokers jumped around 7.1%, and Robinhood added 1.2%. Both the SPDR S&P 500 ETF and the Financial Select Sector SPDR Fund also moved higher.

Still, bullion gained roughly 1.9% for the week, having hit $4,642.72 on Wednesday. “The de-escalation of Middle East tensions has also removed some of the geopolitical premium,” said Edward Meir, analyst at Marex.

Home Depot stock price in focus as investors seek answers on surveillance data ahead of Fed meeting

Home Depot is under fresh pressure from shareholders to scrutinize how it handles surveillance data from its parking lots, following reports that vendor Flock Safety’s license-plate reader cameras have been linked to U.S. immigration enforcement. The stock closed Friday at $380.17, up $1.03, or 0.27%. Zevin Asset Management, which owns over $7 million in Home Depot shares, is spearheading a proposal backed by 17 co-filers urging an “assessment of privacy and civil rights risks.” A company spokesperson responded, saying: “We cannot legally interfere with federal enforcement agencies.”
