Oil prices rise on U.S.-Iran flare-up; Brent nears $68 ahead of U.S. stockpile data
Brent crude rose 46 cents to $67.79 a barrel and WTI gained 52 cents to $63.73 by 1034 GMT after the U.S. shot down an Iranian drone and Iranian boats approached a U.S.-flagged tanker. Traders cited renewed supply risks in the Gulf. The U.S. Energy Information Administration will release official inventory data at 1530 GMT.
