Ondas Inc. (NASDAQ:ONDS) climbs after $70 million in orders; focus turns to converting backlog to revenue

NEW YORK, July 22, 2026, 19:07 EDT

  • The stock ended the session at $8.00, rising 4.4%, following a high of $8.58.
  • Ondas’ four-week order intake represents 13.3% of its minimum revenue goal set for 2026.
  • Just $6.9 million of the $70 million total was individually specified.

Nasdaq’s standard trading hours ended. The after-hours market was still active at the dateline. Ondas ended the main session up 4.4% at $8.00.

Ondas announced the development after disclosing $70 million in fresh orders won during the last four weeks.

The stock rose to $8.58 during the session, up almost 12% at its highest point, but ultimately gave back close to two-thirds of those gains by the end of trading. Trading volume hit 175.95 million shares, roughly double the average shown on Google Finance.

The size is significant. The order batch represents 13.3% of Ondas’ minimum $525 million revenue goal. It is also 1.4 times the company’s first-quarter revenue.

The current valuation provides limited tolerance for setbacks. On Wednesday, the stock’s market capitalization stood at roughly 8.7 times the 2026 minimum sales goal.

This is not a profit multiple. Ondas posted a first-quarter operating loss of $42.7 million on revenue of $50.1 million.

Net income received a lift from a $389.5 million non-cash warrant gain, an accounting item that did not reflect the company’s contract performance.

Chief Executive Eric Brock described the awards as “a strong demonstration of our execution.” The awards cover ground systems, border protection, counter-UAS, surveillance, and precision-strike technologies. Ondas Inc.

The filing omitted important details. Aside from the $6.9 million deal in Australia, Ondas did not specify amounts for individual customers. Margins and a delivery schedule for the outstanding $63.1 million also remained undisclosed.

The increase distinguished itself from key peers. Shares of Red Cat Holdings Inc. dropped 8.8%, as AeroVironment Inc. gained 1.1%. The Nasdaq Composite slipped roughly 0.6%.

Ondas shares climbed 13.5% over the five sessions through Wednesday, increasing from $7.05 on July 15 to $8.00. The three-day rally from Friday’s close totaled 22.6%.

Ondas’ $875.8 million purchase of DZYNE Technologies prompted the order increase. The transaction, finalized on July 6, involved $200 million in cash alongside about 85 million shares of Ondas. Revenue guidance for 2026 was lifted from $390 million to a minimum of $525 million.

No corporate events are scheduled for the upcoming week. Investors are expected to focus on delivery timelines, progress on backlog conversion, and confirmation of the second-quarter earnings date.

Risks are still focused on execution and integration. The majority of the order batch does not specify timing or margins. Ondas also needs to integrate DZYNE while managing operating expenses and any potential share overhang.

The upcoming concrete proof will be recorded revenue alongside gross margin.
