Palantir’s NHS Patient Data Fight Tests Its AI Stock Boom
Britain’s NHS is allowing external staff, including Palantir contractors, broad access to identifiable patient data while building a new health-data platform, the Financial Times reported. The contract, awarded to a Palantir-led consortium in November 2023, is valued at £330 million over seven years. MPs and privacy campaigners raised concerns over data security. NHS England says Palantir cannot commercialise or use the data to train AI models.
