DoorDash Stock Jumps After Order Forecast Beats Wall Street, Even as Profit Slips
DoorDash shares jumped 10% after the company forecast second-quarter marketplace gross order value of $32.4–$33.4 billion, above analyst estimates. First-quarter orders rose 27% to 933 million, with GOV up 37% to $31.6 billion and revenue up 33% to $4.036 billion. Net income fell 5% to $184 million. DoorDash expects its Dasher gas relief program to cost over $50 million in Q2.
