Toyota recalls 162,000 Tundra trucks in the U.S. over screen failure that can blank the backup camera

Toyota is recalling about 162,000 model year 2024-2025 Tundra and Tundra Hybrid pickups in the U.S. due to a defect that can cause the multimedia display to freeze or go black, blocking the rearview camera image. Dealers will update the software free of charge. Owners will be notified by late March. Toyota did not say if the issue has caused any crashes or injuries.
