Australia’s October 2025 Trade Surplus Widens to A$4.39 Billion as Imports Jump and Gold Flows Surge
Australia’s goods trade surplus rose to A$4.385 billion in October, up from A$3.707 billion in September, as exports climbed 3.4% to A$45.98 billion and imports hit a record A$41.59 billion. Non-monetary gold flows drove much of the increase, with gold exports up 14.2% and gold imports surging 80% month-on-month.
