India Exports Jump 19.4% in November 2025 as Trade Deficit Shrinks and US Tariff Talks Intensify
India’s merchandise exports jumped to $38.13 billion in November 2025, up from $31.94 billion a year earlier, while imports slipped to $62.66 billion. The goods trade deficit narrowed to $24.53 billion, a five-month low. Overall trade deficit, including services, fell to $6.64 billion from $17.06 billion. Engineering, electronics, gems, pharma, and petroleum led export gains.
