Onton Raises $7.5M to Expand AI Shopping Platform Beyond Furniture as AI Commerce Race Heats Up
AI commerce startup Onton has raised $7.5 million in seed funding led by Footwork, bringing total capital to about $10 million. The company plans to expand its AI-driven shopping platform beyond furniture into apparel and electronics. Onton uses a “neurosymbolic” AI system to help users find and compare products across retailers. CEO Zach Hudson says the goal is to shorten lengthy online shopping journeys.
