Gasoline price today: UGA stock rises before EIA data as RBOB futures firm

Shares of United States Gasoline Fund LP were indicated higher by $1.03, or roughly 1.6%, at $65.73 ahead of the U.S. open, buoyed by stronger wholesale gasoline prices. NYMEX RBOB gasoline futures—the key U.S. benchmark—last ticked up 0.35% to $1.8329 a gallon.

Gasoline price stock UGA climbs premarket as oil rally puts pump prices back in play

Shares of United States Gasoline Fund LP ticked up about 1.1% in early trading Tuesday as oil prices surged amid concerns that unrest in Iran could tighten supply. Brent futures climbed $1.20, or 1.9%, to $65.07 a barrel by 1150 GMT. U.S. West Texas Intermediate rose $1.23, roughly 2.1%, hitting $60.73. “The oil market is building in some price protection against geopolitical drivers,” said John Evans, an analyst at PVM Oil Associates.

Gasoline price stock UGA jumps nearly 5% as NYMEX RBOB futures surge and jobs data looms

United States Gasoline Fund LP, an exchange-traded fund tied to gasoline prices, climbed 4.8% on Thursday to $64.29. NYMEX RBOB gasoline futures — the main U.S. wholesale gasoline benchmark — rose 3.88% to settle at $1.7603 a gallon and were last around $1.77 early Friday.
