Bevan Spencer von Einem, convicted of the 1983 murder of 15-year-old Richard Kelvin, has been moved to the infirmary at Yatala Labour Prison and is reportedly near death at age 79. Von Einem, jailed since 1984, was transferred from Port Augusta Prison on Monday. The case remains linked to Adelaide’s unsolved “Family Murders.” Victim Richard Kelvin was the son of newsreader Rob Kelvin.
