Dell Technologies (NYSE:DELL) rises after Trump plug outpaces family pledge

Dell Technologies was up 5.6% Monday during regular U.S. trading after President Donald Trump singled out founder Michael Dell in remarks at a White House event for Trump Accounts. “Go out and buy a Dell computer,” Trump said. Dell shares last traded at $416.44 at 11:54 a.m. EDT, with a session high at $429.66. Based on Dell’s market cap and share price, the stock’s midday gains came to around $14.5 billion, and about $23.2 billion at the peak.
