NOAA’s Space Weather Prediction Center has a G4 (Severe) geomagnetic storm watch in effect after multiple solar eruptions sent strong CMEs toward Earth. Auroras were seen across the U.S. last night and are expected again tonight, with peak activity forecast between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. Eastern. The best viewing chances run from Alaska through the northern Plains, Midwest, and Northeast.
