Natural Gas Price Today: Henry Hub Futures Near $4.02 as Warm Forecasts, Record Output and LNG Flows Collide (Dec. 15, 2025)
U.S. natural gas futures for January 2026 fell 2% to about $4.02 per MMBtu by 3:30 p.m. ET Monday, pressured by warmer weather forecasts and near-record Lower 48 production. Prices reversed sharply from early-December highs above $5 as supply stayed strong and demand projections weakened. February and March contracts traded lower, near $3.76 and $3.34, respectively.
