ConocoPhillips stock closes higher as oil jumps; inventories and Feb. 5 earnings date in focus
ConocoPhillips shares rose 1.2% to $92.63 on Monday as crude oil settled more than 2% higher, following reports of rising U.S. inventories and renewed geopolitical tensions. The stock traded between $91.70 and $92.72 on volume of 5.3 million shares. U.S. crude inventories increased by 405,000 barrels last week, while gasoline stocks climbed 2.86 million barrels, according to the EIA.
