MDA Space shares climbed 4.4% after agreeing to buy Blue Canyon Technologies from RTX’s Raytheon for $620 million to expand in U.S. defense-space markets. U.S. indices ended Thursday higher, with the S&P 500 up 1.1% to 7,500.58, the Nasdaq up 1.9%, and the Dow up 0.1%.
