Six Flags Stock SKYROCKETS as Travis Kelce-Backed Activists Demand Shake-Up
Six Flags shares jumped nearly 20% on Oct. 21 after Jana Partners disclosed a 9% stake and announced a campaign with NFL star Travis Kelce to revamp the company. Land & Buildings, with a 2% stake, is also pushing for a real-estate spin-off. The stock remains down over 55% year-to-date despite the rally. Board changes and CEO Richard Zimmerman’s planned retirement were also confirmed.
