Vistra stock jumps as VST taps debt markets; analysts recalibrate after Meta nuclear pact
Vistra shares rose about 5% Monday after announcing a private offering of senior secured notes maturing in 2031 and 2036. Proceeds will fund the Cogentrix acquisition and repay debt. The company recently signed 20-year nuclear power agreements with Meta for over 2,600 megawatts. Traders are watching note pricing ahead of Vistra’s Feb. 26 earnings report.
