Brent crude traded near $115 a barrel and U.S. crude above $104 on Tuesday, both set for record March gains after a drone strike hit Kuwait’s Al Salmi tanker near Dubai. The Strait of Hormuz remains closed, forcing Saudi Arabia to reroute exports. U.S. gasoline averaged $4.018 a gallon, according to AAA. Kuwait said the tanker was struck by Iran; no injuries or spill reported.
