Vanguard’s VTI ETF Surges on Tariff News – Experts See 15% Upside
Vanguard’s Total Stock Market ETF (VTI) is up about 15–16% year-to-date and trading near $325 as of Oct. 13, 2025. VTI saw $1.03 billion in inflows in early October, while $1.02 billion flowed out of Vanguard’s S&P 500 ETF (VOO). VTI tumbled 2.7% after Trump’s tariff announcement on Oct. 10 but rebounded the next day. The ETF now exceeds $2 trillion in assets, the first ETF to reach that milestone.
