Woodside Energy share price jumps on oil spike as Hormuz fears rattle markets
Woodside Energy shares jumped 6.8% to A$30.24 at Monday’s close after oil prices surged on Middle East conflict and shipping disruptions near the Strait of Hormuz. About 14.5 million shares traded as Brent crude hit $82.37, its highest since January 2025. Woodside goes ex-dividend March 5.
