Space Race Heats Up: ISS Gets a Boost, Starship Scrubs & New Cosmic Ambitions (Aug 24–25, 2025)
SpaceX’s CRS-33 Cargo Dragon docked with the ISS at 7:30 a.m. EDT on Aug. 25, 2025, after launching from Cape Canaveral with over 5,000 pounds of supplies and a trunk-mounted boost module. Starting in September, Dragon will use its own propulsion to raise the ISS orbit, reducing reliance on Russian Progress vehicles. Starship Flight 10 was scrubbed Aug. 24 due to a ground-systems issue, with a new attempt set for Aug. 25.
