Wall Street Hit by Yield Jolt With Nvidia Up Next

ETFs tracking U.S. stocks held in the red late Tuesday after the major indexes posted their third loss in a row. Treasury yields moved higher and market focus stayed on Nvidia’s earnings, which investors see as a big test for the AI rally. The SPDR S&P 500 ETF traded at $733.73, down about 0.7%. Invesco QQQ was at $701.53 and the SPDR Dow ETF at $493.98, both off around 0.6% from the previous close.

Analog Devices Shares Rally After $1.5B AI Power Deal Ahead of Earnings

Analog Devices Inc. shares moved higher after the bell on Tuesday. The chipmaker said it’s buying Empower Semiconductor in a $1.5 billion cash deal. ADI had slipped 1.02% to $414.31 by the close, but after hours the stock was up 1.36% at $419.95. That comes just ahead of the company’s quarterly report. After-hours trading refers to trading that happens after the regular U.S. market session.

  • Police Say Telstra Outage Did Not Cause South Australian Woman’s Death
    July 10, 2026, 12:47 AM EDT. South Australia Police Commissioner Grant Stevens said there is no evidence linking a Telstra outage to a woman's death at a regional hospital. Her partner and a neighbour with medical training were able to call Triple Zero (000) for help. Telstra also checked and found no emergency calls failed from their numbers. Early claims of a delayed response because of the outage were incorrect and upset the family. Police and Telstra both said the outage did impact some calls, but not this case.
